- The burning charger
First, burning batteries. Now, the burning charger. What's next, Apple?
I was charging my three year old iBook G4 when I decided to take it and move to the sofa for browsing the news. When I grabbed the connector attached to the laptop, I felt it was really hot, so I decided ... - New home
We've just moved our hosting from JVDS to Slicehost. We've also replaced Apache with Lighttpd, which, combined with the RAM upgrade, makes load times noticeably faster, specially for php scripts.
Almost everything went smooth. We only had a DNS problem for a few hours, making some emails to linuxlover.org, rm-fr.net, verdicio.net, ... - X-Chat update
I've just finished uploading the new package for maemo-xchat, based on the 2.8.2 official release. I've also added some patches from Levi Bard for enabling tab switching via hardware buttons and screen unblanking on some events. As someone of you may know, I've been accepted for the Google's Summer of Code, so I'll be bloging about it as ... - Package Manager for Maemo
I've started writing and apt-like tool for Maemo. If all goes well, you'll be able to add some package sources and then install, uninstall and upgrade your packages from the application, no more need to download them manually :). I think I won't release the first alpha until next ... - maemo-gaim 1.5.0-maemo4 - Cause size does matter
I think today was time to release a new package. The best improvement is I wrote a ssl plugin for Gaim using MatrixSSL, so the package doesn't need to include NSPR and NSS libraries anymore, just MatrixSSL. This saves about 1300KiB of installed size. Other improvements include fullscreen support ...
